Forums - Gaming Discussion - Mass Effect Thread: Leviathan is out, buy it, it's great

I've played two rounds of silver now. In the first, we flopped and died on Wave 3. We managed to beat the second. I went down a fair bit, but that happens on Silver, and in my defence I was only level 15.

I've been in a couple of other silver lobbies, but a level 8 should not be playing silver and if I see that I exit immediately. My successful team was 15, 16, and two 17s, and even we struggled.

You think that's bad, then wait until you get dropped into a Gold lobby with a game already running and find out that one of your teammates is a level 1 when you inevitable lose that round.

I don't think I've ever been that pissed at a MP game on ME3 as that one

Actually it's not so much about your level but the amount of teamwork that is involved. I've beaten the Reapers on Silver with 3 people before and last night I saw my cousin beat Gold with a level 1 vangaurd playing.

I may be wrong, but I think he might have been talking about ranking levels

No, I meant regular upgrade levels. A high N7 level shows that you are a highly skilled and experienced player, but your abilities will still be awful.

In my reply to him I was

A N7 level 1...oh man what kind of idiot you must be to think you can even survive Gold? xD.

Edit - Ah now I see were talking about upgrade levels. In that I agree with Yo_John, in Silver and above difficulty teamwork is much more important than upgrade levels. I've used my level 1 characters on Silver tons of times and almost never lose a round and usually end up at the top spot of the team.

Hey guys what do you think how many additional squadmembers will be aded in future DLC´s?

Zero.

To the best of my understanding, all the DLC squadmates in II and III were already on the disc. I don't think there are any other than Javik in this one.

Nah, the squadmates in 2 weren't - Kasumi: Stolen Memory was like a gig and a half in terms of download, though you're right in that there were gaps in the data where she was supposed to be slotted in. I think.

Kasumi's model, or rather a placeholder, and some audio files were already on the disk. We first found out about her after people searched the game's files. You could even mod the game to have her doing the suicide mission.

You poor bastard. You are probably wondering why I said that. You'll find out soon enough unfortunately.

What would be cool is if we had the option to change your signature's colour.

Go finish the game and you'll understand.
