Honestly, I would consider buying one if it was around $199.

Sony is an idiot, if it thinks the vita will do better here than it did in japan with these insane prices.

They will drop it when they start to notice things... I say around Holiday time.

ASAP. People will be like: "The Vita is only $30 more the 3DS, what a deal!" Seriously, Sony will be making a killing off that price, but they said that the Vita is at the lowest price they could sell it at and that a price cut isn't within their radar.

The equivalent to USD?

judging by that slow slow slow 74 k week man they better do somthing , they aint even getting games out as fast as nintendo and what makes me worrysome is that nintendo has pokemon black and white 2 for ds a 8 yr old platform how come nintendo can work on games for all of its platforms., just add another ds game to my list which includes duke nukem critical mass lol

sony vita has only a cod title and a port of mk 8 coming , besides the usual killzone and resistance

none of these will sell the vita just look at psp kz was on it , so was cod ,

nintendo is one smart son of a snake, i Can't believe i preordered this thing , i knew i should have waited, cause the reception to this where i live in the us was not to well ,

the stores did not even care about the vita , when i picked mine up the vita had such small small section smaller then the 3ds did at launch and smaller then psp ended up with . also when i asked to swap to the 3g model they said they only got like a few i could count the boxes on my 1 hand , i think it was 3 wifi 2 3g , but ya,

can pretty much say if sony does not get the games out or third parties behind this thing , 3ds and ds combo and psp will just eat it before it gets started ,
