I bought the PS3 and PSP at launch. I think I'm going to end up waiting on the Vita.
Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Wow, it's about 50/50 right now.
If even dedicated gamers are planning to wait this launch may go pretty bad. (Although, some votes are biased, so don't take the result to seriously.)
look in your pocket and ask your money, and if your money doesn't run away, then Vita will be a great purchase.
In every country but Japan and Australia. Yes.
I wish Play.com shipped here.

Even if I probably won't save as much as 80 bucks I'd welcome any price cut since I don't want any particular launch game anyways. |
i don't think you'll have to worry about a pricedrop no matter how bad it sales. Sony isn't looking to take any losses they can avoid.
and if a pricecut does happen, it won't be by $80. it will be more like $50.

You're probably right. It's just that I've been forced to think with my pocket recently. For Sony's sake I really hope that they manage to keep the launch price though.

Some of the bundles are actually quite decent, you can get the Vita for around £210 roughly

smart. think with your pocket, but the real question is do you have anything else coming in the next month (till your next pay check if you work) that you may need (not want) before you spend your money on a Vita?
better yet, look into the future, and see when the next time you'll have money. if it's to far away for you to think about, then you might want to save your money if something more pressing comes along.
i would use the look at yourself as a business thing, but i've used that some many times. most recently (not real recent) on Nintendopie

Well, I do study, so I get paid every month. I spent quite an amount on 3DS and Xbox games recently though so I'll try to save up some before making any expensive purchases. And getting Mario Kart is my top priority right now, so that will be another slow down.
Luckily I'll wait until a while after launch though. Not many of the launch titles caught my interest anyway so this shouldn't be a problem :) (thanks for the feedback by the way)
