What's next? Sea Lion?
Lion has not been out long enough, but since it has tons of glitches why not release another version to waste your money on. What a waste !!

It looks pretty decent from what I've seen so far. This is definitely the way to go in terms of iOS / OS X functions. Let's hope the operating system gets more stable with the update.

I agree on the Lion part, it's truly glitchy at times. But I have a feeling Mountain Lion releasing so soon has something to do with Apple's rumored switch to very high resolution displays on their macs. If only so they can keep it as much a secret as possible until they want the news to spread.

Well they only charged $29 for Lion, so I'd expect ML to be around that price as well (if not cheaper), it's still less than Windows costs. (I use both Win7 on my desktop and Lion on my MBA.)

Honestly, this upgrade feels like the most incremental update to OS X ever. Feels more like a suite of applications than an OS upgrade. Though for $30, it's hard to complain. I'm looking forward to iMessage support and Airplay, myself. The most interesting part to me is that the China-centric upgrades warrant their own bullet point. China is Apple's fastest-growing market, and Apple is clearly determined to make the most of that. |
Yeah, iMessage support would be nice although I don't think I'd use it all that much on my mac. It took me awhile to convince my gf to upgrade her iPad 2 to ios 5, but after she did she always uses iMessage on it to message me on my iPhone 4.
Airplay might be nice, but I don't have an Apple TV to take advantage of it. There are rumors that they might releasing an updated version of it though along with the iPad 3 next month. If so I might have to look into it.

well.. as a big Mac user i can safely say i won't be Buying this.
downloaded Lion for £21 when it came out and pretty much nothing changed.. pointless and a massive waist of money. the only big difference is for some weird reason Apple decided to change which way the touch panel works and made it unnatural.. so i had to change it back to normal
On other news, i made this OS
