Honestly, this upgrade feels like the most incremental update to OS X ever. Feels more like a suite of applications than an OS upgrade. Though for $30, it's hard to complain. I'm looking forward to iMessage support and Airplay, myself. The most interesting part to me is that the China-centric upgrades warrant their own bullet point. China is Apple's fastest-growing market, and Apple is clearly determined to make the most of that. |
Yeah, iMessage support would be nice although I don't think I'd use it all that much on my mac. It took me awhile to convince my gf to upgrade her iPad 2 to ios 5, but after she did she always uses iMessage on it to message me on my iPhone 4.
Airplay might be nice, but I don't have an Apple TV to take advantage of it. There are rumors that they might releasing an updated version of it though along with the iPad 3 next month. If so I might have to look into it.
