Forums - Sony - Killzone confirmed for Vita!

Nazis = Bad

Helghan = Nazis

So therefore Helghan = Bad. Quite simple

They aren't politically the same as Nazis, though. Guerilla just lazily gave them a Nazi looking flag and had them get all enthused over Adolf Scolar Visari's speeches so you'd know that they're the bad d00dz.

That's kinda one of the pluses to the story that makes it interesting. There really is no good side in this war. One could even argue that you're on the more evil side of the two. I wish the Helghan were playable in Killzone.

Maybe I'm missing something, but Guerilla don't even seem to be aware of the fact that they've made the ISA worse than the Helghan. It's possible that they're just being subtle about it, I guess, but that almost never happens in video games. I really do think that it simply boils down to, Visari is a nut, the Helghan are brutal, and they have a Nazi flag = they're bad.

That may have been true at one point but i'm sure the fans have brought it to their attention by now. I remember my time on the Killzone forums. It was pretty amazing to see just how many people root for the Helghan over ISA.

4 ≈ One

I've got to say Sony appears to be throwing everything they've got at PSVita though I must say Resistance is likely a waste of resources. KillZone might be worth while but Sony will need more then KillZone to make Vita's a success in NA and Europe. I am betting that Sony needs a good CoD release among other shooters. GPS is a genre Nintendo hasn't mastered since the N64. If Sony can release enough high quality FPS titles as well as other western titles like the Assassins Creed game and so fourth they might have a slight chance of recovery. In Japan a big budget Monster hunter is a must as is a good Final Fantasy among other major releases.

Sony needs the big guns and a shit load of them.

You are wrong.

In a interview, a guerilla guy talked about that issue, and about the fact there will be people who will have more sympathy for the helghast.

This contradiction is intentional.

If you read the prequel history on KZ website, they go even further on this. The Helghast are crearly not worse than ISA.

Actually the history remembers a lot WW2. Helghast were becoming a big power like germany, but this growth was stopped by WW1 and then helghast like germany failed on to poverty until Visary/Hitler came and bringed hope to their people.

I think that the problem in KZ history is that there isn't much innovation. It's pretty much a copy-paste from the real history. What could saved the history were the characters, but they are poorly developed.

But by putting the history aside, I think that KZ is a very quality franchise. KZ2 was one of the most addicting online experiences that i've ever had. But with competitors like BF3, KZ has fallen on to mediocrity.

I hope Guerilla don't make the same mistakes with their new franchise.

Is he saying that Killzone 3 won't ever work with Vita remote play?

I hope that isn't what he is saying because for one, Sony showed it during E3 I believe it was, not to mention that now if you go into stores like Walmart and Target, it advertises Vita with videos in the gaming section (PS3 area) and one of the things it shows and mentions is remote play and it shows Killzone 3. It even mentions Killzone 3 by name.

Very stupid move if this is indeed the case...

I like Resistance's setting and I love the arcade feel to R1 and R3, but Killzone 2 and 3s production values blow it out of the park. Problem is I don't see how that can be transferred to the Vita.

Considering how good Uncharted looks, I don't think it'll be too much of a problem for Guerilla to make a good looking Killzone Vita game

Not to mention that Uncharted was made by Bend and Killzone will be made by Guerilla.

I wonder what Uncharted would have looked like if Naughty Dog did it.

I stand corrected, then.
