Forums - Gaming - Nikkei Industry Rumor: "Devs canning Vita projects, moving to 3DS"

Seriously guys, I have the vita and I played the 3ds. The 80 dollar difference between the consoles is totally justifiable. The 3ds isnt even in the same league when comes to presentation at all.

As somebody who has a 3DS and has played the Vita, I disagree entirely.

The Nintendo DS was not in the same league of the PSP and we all know how well that ended for the PSP.

Obviously it's the Vita MH game.

It ended quite well for the psp actually. It stole an incredible amount of market share from Nintendo, who previously had a monopoly on the handheld market.

The DS was Nintendo's best selling handheld anyways wasn't it?

The hardware capabilities isn't the sole reason for getting a console...

it's common sense that many developers will put more projects on 3DS since it's selling more (regardless of what type of projects)

but i don't really think they are cutting many PSV games, maybe some of them like they did with the 3DS when it was not selling but up to a point

i think it's gonna be the same as with the DS getting tons and tons of games but PSP selling low software, and this time 3DS has MH in Japan so PSV may have lost PSP's best territory if something is not announced officially anytime soon

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Oh god yeah by a garden mile but the psp still sold incredibly well considering what it was up against.

That doesn't mean that it didn't end well for the PSP.
