Oh god, that mylittlepony pic in the OP hurts my eyes. T_T

Can a 3DS and a DS game interact or be made to interact to trade Pokemon)?

If so, then it can be released on 3DS. If not, it will be on DS. That is the operative question.

And it is a question of when and what -- not if. Each main-line series of Pokemon games has been a pair followed by a third hybrid game (see list below). Only the remakes/re-releases did not feature the third game

1. Red/Blue(Green in JP) --> Yellow
2. Gold/Silver --> Crystal
3. Ruby/Sapphire --> Emerald
4. Diamond/Pearl --> Platinum
5. Black/White --> ?????

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

You will probably see a system similar to GBA - > DS trades, where you have the DS Pokemon game in the DS slot, and Grey in the 3DS slot.

However I don't think it would be that hard to trade wirelessly. They may have designed Black/White to be tradable with Grey from DS to 3DS.

Why can't it be a joint 3DS/DS release? I think it will release on 3DS because of the amount of 3D structures in the game, but I don't see why it won't release on DS as well.

If it's called Pokemon Grey and Kyurem is grey coloured what colour would they use for the background? I suppose it could be on the basis of it's shiny Pokemon.

They could have one half of the box be white and the other black, like the Yin/Yang symbol.

I completely forgot about that, thanks for pointing it out.

What will they do after grey?

They should work on a console adventure game.

I meant title wise :P

I would actually consider buying a nintendo system if they remade the first few pokemon games (first gen or first and second) into a 3D open world RPG on the scale of something like Skyrim, and be able to play as the pokemon in combat. That could be incredible.
