To those of us familiar with the "Double-Life" advert from the PsOne days in the uk, The Vita advert will feel VERY familiar, IMO it's a great move.

Not bad. They'd really benefit from a new batch of David Lynch directed ads, IMO. And they also could use a flagship game starring a brash talking marsupial... Kaboom Echidna or something like that.

you know i was kind of thinking FF but i wasn't sure. not a series i've ever played.


Personally I don't these types of advertisement are effective, because it doesn't really highlight anything about the product. As a random consumer who would lack knowledge of the vita, this does nothing to convince me of a the product.
I guess they are targeting knowledgeable Sony fans, because this commercial doesn't seem to suit any other demographic besides the knowledgeable gamer.
