Easy.

NBA2k is kicking ass and taking names and so is Borderlands 2 !!!! ( remember last year we had the strike so NBA2K didnt' do as well as the NBA season started much later).

415 million$ of revenue vs 263 million$ last year.

71.4 million$ profit vs 14.1 million$.

22% of sales from old titles ( Read Dead, GTA and co) which isn't a surprise. TTWO are the only ones that are able to sell old title at a decent price far after their release...

Oh, but how did it go up after hours though?

Because they released their financial results after the market close...

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

There is a secondary market where you can trade stocks after the close of market.

The amount traded is a lot smaller so stocks tend to get volatile .

I've never used it but I know it's there.

Here is more information :

Interesting :) I wonder if it affects the regular market, and if it's the same stock just in two markets, and if the transactions in one market affects the other on market open.

There is a correlation , after hours is like an extension of the market.

The stock price at the start of the market starts close to where it left in extended hours trading.

You are trading the same stock.

Stocks will however sometime have wide variation during after hours trading as companies release financial information during that time and that can have an immediate effect on a stock price..

Color me surprised, Take-Two exceeded my expectations on every level. Bigger profits, and a stock repurchase for over 7 million stock. Damn,
