Looks good! Just checked and by adding up my free space plus apps I got to 3.85. Factor in my 30 or so pictures and a short video I saved and that puts it right around 4.

it's tellin me 29 gigs is what I have available.  3 gig loss isn;t terrible, but still kinda silly.  Regardless, I actually think it's not a horrible deal.  spend the money now (that's a month's worth of coffees) and you likely won't have to ever worry about space.  games like Super Stardust HD are only 200 megs, and even big games like uncharted are only a couple gigs from what I understand.  

I can put all my ipod music on here, all my PSP downloads, and all my PS1 classics on here and still have like 15 gigs left over.  I'm NOT worried about space (and I'm not putting my music in here)  

Those 3 gigs are probably from all your installed aplications. Try using the content manager to see how much data each one of those installs are.

When i first saw it at E3 I was blown away. After researching it and using a none demo model at those events they had in shopping malls (not the awesome vita hill ones, just a few models for use and some people to help) I was still thrilled. It's a truely modern device that has a lot of functionality, including in the future. Playing a gamestop demo of gravity rush I noticed how amazing it's tilt function is too. This thing remarkably has almost everything, and can add more in the future. It appeals to just about everyone, except for people who want a phone, unless they are willing to pay for 3G and a Skype international number. Which can be expensive combined and limits you to speaker phone without a Bluetooth headset handy. I can't wait for it. I'd write more because I know almost everything about it at this point but I ramble and don't dare to edit my post from this iPod touch.

Not likely, since all the applications are installed on the system itself. only the games and demos and stuff that I've downloaded since getting it have gone on the stick. 

Or have they... I'll be buying a 32 gb card today so before I put anything on it I'll make a check. With you probably being right, how much memory does it have?

Was just in Gamestop. They don't have a single 32gb stick on display. I should have asked an associate. Good to see what you guys have been saying about the memory. Fills me with a lot of confidence. I currently have over 20 games on my current 16gb memory stick. I went a little crazy last week buying games from the PSN so my 8gb memory stick (formerly used for movies) is full of games, too. All that's left is my 8gb of PSP comics.

I think I'll just port the best of the best to the Vita and leave everything else on the PSP. That would clear up a lot of space on both. More than likely, I'll buy every Vita game instead of downloading. I don't think it would be worth it to download like it was on the PSP (UMD's were slow loading, a bitch to transport, and a drain on the battery). My 32GB card should last quite a while as long as I don't get screwed out of too much memory.

Which reminds me : I gotta go online and order a 32GB card. Crazy thing is that there isn't even really a Vita game I want, yet (Rush is still a ways off). Gotta think about the future, though. Would have been a big help with my PSP, that's for sure.

I got to hold it at best buy and when I first saw it it was bigger than I thought and the screen was also bigger than I thought I was in "awe" its much different when you see it and use it in person kinda like watching a concert on a TV or computer its not the same as going to an actual concert and being there.
