There has been Portable FF Games they just aren't stand-alone ones.
OT: I do too, it might turn out absolutely horrid though.

hell yea they should because it worked well for those games and square-enix should work together with tri-ace again to make another star ocean on the 3ds and they should never have made final fantasy 13 or 13-2 they were terrible i thought anyways.
