After all, for the last 11 Months it's held 40% marketshare in the US!

They have been overtracking the ps3 as well and they have been overtracking the ps3 in europe by greater numbers than 360 in the US.

Nintendo could be wrong, I mean who are you going to trust; a trusted family company that specialises in video game related products or statement based on lack of evidence.

To be fair, Nintendo could actually be wrong. The numbers they provide for Europe is a mix of tracker (when available, and I think that tracker is GFK, or something) and logical data estimations where tracker information isn't available. Given I assume logical data estimations will deal with the smaller countries and not the bigger ones.
