It would probably sell more than it did in Japan. Japan literally hates the 360. Most of America seems to like it, it would do better.

I'm hoping for a 2D remake of Final Fantasy III being released in 2013 (you know to making it a gimmick of the number 3!?)! I'm also hoping for a 2D high res remake of FFV, would be nice to see a fully 3D graphics of the game, but I doubt they'll do that, if they go towards 3D figures, I think they would make it similar to FF3 DS or FFIV DS with FFV. I hope they release FFType 0, I think it has more chance of being released this year in the US on the Vita, would help sales alot, and cant forget about Before Crisis FFVII which was rumored to come out on the PSP years ago.
Cant wait for E3 2012 *__* |
If those are to happen, they damn well better have brand new titles coming.
Square-Enix has become a pathetic company and remakes will not redirect the business except to tell the fans "yeah, we just don't care anymore".
PlayStation Vita should not be a remake machine. Sony needs to grow some balls and take the lead.
I'm just so fucking pissed off at Sony. Every single time they have nothing to stop them from being back to their dominate self, they end up stopping themselves. *punches Jack Tretton in the face*.

From the looks of it, it's worse than that. The DS nearly beat the rest of the 7th gen systems combined for a while, and the PSP only did as well as it did because of one notable franchise. Remember, the Monster Hunter games account for about a quarter of all PSP software in Japanese history. Losing that title as an exclusive is a bigger deal than Nintendo losing Mario or Pokemon on the handheld sphere there, if only because the 3DS would still have the other franchise and Animal Crossing and whatnot to compensate.
What I'm trying to say is, the PSP might have been a sucess only because of a single franchise. Without the franchise, the future of the gaming industry in Japan could be synonymous with the 3DS exclusively, as opposed to handhelds in general.
I'm probably wrong. But when one handheld sells so much without any big new titles, I get suspicious.

Were not making fun of him we just don't like him. He seems really snobby at times.
