Wow at the 32GB card being so high up.

Every console with a slower start is doomed until it's not. Remember that at one point the PS3 was getting outsold 7:1 in Japan by the Wii. Now it's doubling the Wii's sales weekly and is looking to finish the generation almost neck in neck. At least let the Vita release in more than one territory or let it get a big game first.

Do you really believe PS3 will sells more than 4 millions in Japan to catch Wii?

You are joking right or this some kind of sarcasm?

Considering that in previous generations the gap between the first and second place consoles could be well over 10 million, then yes, I would say that the PS3 finishing at least within 3 million of the Wii and having competitive software sales is a pretty impressive result. Also good job not addressing any other part of my post.

.... is that a joke? Looking to finish the generation neck and neck? Wii in Japan 12.3m, Ps3 in Japan 7.8m. So to finish neck and neck the PS3 would need more than 50% of what it has already sold while the wii sold nothing. 

It would of course need this in around about 2-3 years before the focus totally shifts to next gen.

I think the one good thing for Sony is that if they were gonna have sales slow in any region it'd be Japan. We know the PSP was a big hit there in the end and we know that once the Vita is cheaper / got games it'll sell well there - that's just Japan. While sales are pretty weak, the strength of the PSP means that Vita really can't be a disaster there long term.

I'll be more worried if the thing really struggles in America and Europe, as the PSP ended up a bit of a lost cause there and the Vita could quickly become forgotten given what happened to the PSP. Sony have got to keep the thing relevent and that's no easy task.

 I have no proof for this but I'd assume any Amazon 'top ten' list will have certain parameters put in place so that the highest listed items are those that given Amazon the biggest profit margin. So obviously, the 32GB costs more, so Amazon get more money for it - by having it higher up the list people will be more inclined to buy it. That would explain why the 3G is higher then Wifi too.

 That's just the skeptic in me - I know the 'top ten' lists you get at retail shops are paid for by the publishers / ordered based on retail margin and in no way correspond to actual sales, at least not in the UK for sure.

Could definitely be wrong but I'd be very surprised.

We know PS3 sold as double as Wii sales this past year. That's not a subject to disscuss., so there's no point to address the first part.

And 3 million difference in Japan is not neck to neck.

I would think that's called "false advertising".
