Electric companies that stopped making plasma tv's outnumber the electric companies that are still making plasmas once Samsung and LG will stop making them which will be pretty soon its RIP for plasma. Also around 2005/2006 was the last time all major electronic companies still made plasma tv's. Since then Sony, Hitachi, Philips, Vizio, RCA, NEC, and Pioneer have stopped making plasma tv's. Also not everyone needs or has room for a 40+inch tv for them LCD/LED and pretty soon OLED is the only choice. |
For sure bro, Plasmas are doing as good as they did 5 years ago, Panasonic has more then 80 billion dollars of turnover just selling plasmas. Samsung makes plasmas, Sharp, Toshiba makes plasmas. Philips makes Plasmas, LG makes plasmas, oh yeah... did I say Hitachi still makes Plasmas too? Never heard of Vizio and RCA tho.
I plan on upgrading my Samsung plasma to a VT50 Panasonic plasma, probably the best tvs ever made after those Kuro's.
