Forums - Sony - Sony PlayStation Vita review - 4.5/5

It really does look great.

Never got a PSP though so... This will have a lot of persuading to do. Unless a Valkyria Chronicles Collection is released, that is.

I'm hyped again!

I'm gonna get a Vita and a 32GB card. The graphics, from the demo of Gravity Rush/Craze that I played wasn't really that much more impressive than my 3DS but I've been thinking about it and I'm still sold. I still carry my PSP with around 20 games saved on a 16mb Memory stick.

-I can just port those games over, quick and painlessly.
-I have enough devices for music so I won't need the Vita for that.
-I mainly use my PSP for movies. I HOPE that it's easy to put movies on the Vita or that thing can stay on the shelf. I hope it can play more formats, too. Converting a movie for the PSP is a huge headache.
-I'll probably buy multiplats and exclusives for the Vita and exclusives for my 3DS

I know it's a quality console. If I approach it with realistic expectations (some people really know how to over-hype things), I'll be happy with it.

I don't believe you...you liar!! =p

I really want to get it on launch, and it's a day after my birthday (i think :P) but i get the feeling waiting till the holidays would be a better buy.

Thats what im waiting for. Most likely theyll have some good bundles out by then or who knows maybe even a price drop.

Good review.

I'm wainting some news about how the imported PSV works here to buy one.

I'll give you my account password and you can see for yourself!  Or not.  But yeah.  I have two 8GB memory sticks and on 16gb stick.  Oh.....I see. I said "mb" instead of 'gb"!

Anyway, one card has 8gb of comics (I was addicted to PSP comics....and then they quit updating the choices!).  The other card has almost 8gb of movies and a few games (Dragon's Lair, Pursuit Force, and something I can't even remember).  The other is 16gb of PSP and PS1 titles.

Great review, I knew you could map PSP controls to the stick, but the touch panel and screen, that's pretty sick. I wonder what else is hidden in the gem.

i didnt even know that you could map buttons at all!! Thats bad ass. and I completly forgot about the UMD passport thing. I got a few, hope it hits US
