Frankly, SCE has done such a *fantastic* job of spreading consumer awareness of the PSV platform, I don't even know what PSN titles will even be available during the launch window nor anything about the price ranges.

At any rate, I wouldn't buy this bundle for the free game. More like adding the 3G option for $20.



What about the memory card? Isn't that like $40 alone?

$30 for an 8GB card. That alone makes the bundle worth buying. It's that or a $250 WiFi model and an 8GB card for $280.

Why would anyone want a GPS on a game system...

There could be in game uses for GPS. Social networking app use to find friends. Many smartphone apps use GPS as well for finding hotspots near your location.

If nothing else, it could be used as a GPS unit for navigation.

Getting myself the wi fi model, limited edition packaging, three games, a 4 gig memory card and a 32 gig memory card...and I don't have to pay a dime!

Nice move from Sony, presumably reacting to the unexpected low sales of the 3G model in Japan, compared to the wifi one. If I were buying Vita, I would definitely go for this bundle instead of the wifi version.

Gamers obviously eat this stuff up. But it masks Sony's worrying.

Since they haven't sold a single unit in NA, that's a bit premature. That's pretty much suggesting that they'll stop making them shortly and that they'll shutter the service before it's even started.

It's entirely possible they came up with the offer based upon pre-order sales, which would be their primary gauge for measuring interest in the 3G feature/service. I can only assume it's low since SCE really hasn't done much of anything to convince most potential buyers why it's worth anything at all.

I Agree a bit premature... Let's wait and see. I am 3G will do fine in US!
