Cross-platform simultaneously.

Directly from the press conference published on the official page of Facebook , CD Project RED has officially announced the development of The Witcher 3 on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

John Mamais, executive director of The Witcher 2, has told the third installment of the series will arrive in the multiplatform, making happy owners of Sony's black monolith.

Has not yet been given a release date on the market, but it's easy to assume that we will see him only in the year 2013.

If anyone of you are wondering if The Witcher II will arrive on PS3, we asked the people concerned but have mouths sewn on the subject, so no confirm nor deny, saying only that "it would be stupid not to do it."

Now we wait for the inevitable cancellation of the PS3 version.

hmm since i started playing on pc last year with xbox controller on my tv i hope the pc version won't suffer from that. a pc games in 2013 could look brilliant (knowing how great witcher 2 looks on pc) but if it won't suffer it's a great news!

Wii U?

If i was them I'd do a collection release of witcher 1(remastered) and 2 for both ps3/360 before witcher 3 comes out.

Why release Witcher 3 PS3? When Witcher 2 PS3 doesn't exist. (They should just have released with the Xbox version.)

I can't see myself enjoying 3 if I never played 2 and even 1, but 2 seems to really impact events of 3.

Witcher II will release on the PS3 eventually, and then, I will get it.

Considering how great looking the second one is on PC I would have prefered them to wait next gen with console versions... hopefully PS3/X360 versions won't hamper the the graphics of the PC version.

Good news!

I'd have preffered it though for PC and Next-Gen consoles, but I'll still be getting it.
