Using the numbers nsanity posted... For Europe...

We have PS3 over by 800k(!!), Wii over by 175k, 360 over by 400k(!), 3DS over by 475k(!).

Is Nintendo's definition of Europe the same as VGC?

They have official data from UK, France, Germany and Spain... The rest is Nintendo estimating.

Do you think we'll eventually get official numbers for the rest of EU?  Or will it forever remain a mystery?

I don't think there's any official tracker of the regions outside of UK, FRA, GER and SPA... We just get whatever data we can from the companies.

For example, Sony saying 14 Million PS2 units have been sold in Albania.

Oh, I just thought GfK tracked more than those regions.  Maybe not.

For the record, none of those are official numbers. NPD, GFK, etc numbers are all estimates, sure they officially released those numbers and are their "official" estimates, but none are really accurate. The only official numbers that can be backed by documentations are official shipment numbers.
