Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo FYQ3 Financials - Profits, Wii 5.61, 3DS 8.36, all HW Forecasts Lowered

Looks like we have DS overtracked as well, shipped 151.06m end of 2011, we have 151.06m end of 2011.

Also we have 40m Wii games on shelves, ect, is that a normal amount or too low? I don't know how much SW is suppose to be on shelves.

For comparison we have over 132m DS games on shelves, and 5.8m on shelves for 3DS (new system so guess that makes sense?)

You speak about the quarter right?

I know they had a 650 millions € loss after the two first quarter.  Their loss is now around 480 millions € after 3 quarters.

Oh right (why are you using Euros?) So they drove it down this Q, and expect to ramp it up again by the same amount they drove it down this Q, to end at a 838m~ loss overall for the FY. Get it now, ta

they probably did make a profit this qaurter (but year to date are looking at a heft loss)... but they themselves forecast that to be wiped out this quarter with further losses and annual losses close to $1bn.

Ya, for the first 2 Q's they were at a $903m loss, didn't realise it was so big in such a short time. So this Q as Lucas said they drove it down $300m to $600m and it'll ramp up to $840m next Q, so expecting a $240m loss next Q.

Wii at 94.97, shame they didn't ship just 30k more to hit the 95m milestone. Will hit 100m in Q4 2012 now.

Interesting that this is the 3rd year in a row Wii shipments have dropped 5m+ YoY

25.94 > 20.53 > 15.08 > 10 > ?

So they really make profit the last fiscal year, that 's not bad.

Considering 2012 is a bad year for the world economy,it 's natural that they lowered the sales.

The strong yen is the biggest enemy of japanese companies now.
