Last year's operating income of 158,795 million yen and net income of 49,557 million yen turned to an operating loss of 16,408 million yen and a net loss of 48,351 million yen.

they probably did make a profit this qaurter (but year to date are looking at a heft loss)... but they themselves forecast that to be wiped out this quarter with further losses and annual losses close to $1bn.

Ya, for the first 2 Q's they were at a $903m loss, didn't realise it was so big in such a short time. So this Q as Lucas said they drove it down $300m to $600m and it'll ramp up to $840m next Q, so expecting a $240m loss next Q.
