I might switch from owning all 3 to wiiU and ps4. I haven't played a game on my 360 for a year now :/
I'll wait this time for each to have a game I really want to play. All 3 broke on me this gen, buying early sucks.
PC might get upgraded first.

I almost certainly will, not that I have much of a choice since Sony won't be around next generation.

You can still get a Samsung PlayStation 4 though.

If Samsung made the PS4, it might just end up being the best console ever, if they could get the third party support.

I fully expect Sony to just make the PS4 though.

God, I hope you're wrong. The day Sony stops making games is the day I stop living.

I'll probably remain Sony first with a Nintendo console second (though this time I'll make sure it actually gets the Japanese 3rd party support before buying it). But on the subject of switching I am looking to get into the handhelds for the first time since I was a kid taking family roadtrips. That's probably mostly because I review games, but also because it seems to be where a lot of the JRPGs are ending up.

1. 720 new (within the first year of its release)
2. Nintendo Wii U new (within 2 years of its release)
3. PS4 2nd hand (god knows, possibly the gen after just to play a few games i missed out on)

right now the 360 & 3DS are giving me more than enough gaming delight.

I depends, I am not planning on getting a WiiU, it's sort of half next gen. But it will depend on what it can do and what games are offered. Now if Nintendo blows me away, things may change.

I will probably wait for the Xbox 720, or whatever it will be called. Unless Sony pumps out something I just have to have, but I think that is unlikely with what Kinect 2.0 will do on the NextBox. I am hoping for some big innovations in the next get.

Toast to hoping...

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Tell me a funny joke!

not right away, probably wait for the price to decrease a bit

Year after 720 releases no doubt

Unlikely for me. If Sony leaves consoles all together I'll stick with PC as my current alternate platform. Nintendo games really don't grab me, not even OoT on 3DS impressed me much and I was expecting to love the game, so I'm pretty much not interested in the one franchise I thought would get me to buy a Nintendo console.

Nexgen XBox will mostly be "console exclusive" for any games I'm really interested, so I'll be OK with PC, once I upgrade my graphics card.

So without a PS4 I'm likely not to get a console. My 2 sons would probably fight over pooling their money to buy one. The older one will probably want Xbox 720, the younger one will probably want Wii U (he loved OoT). At the moment the younger one has more money. If they do buy one between them I might chip in $50 just so I can say I part own it.
