Obviously, a lot of us own more than one of these Systems but most of us do have a favorite. Some of us on here have been with the same company for multiple Gens now and may have "Brand Loyalty". With that said, how likely are you to go with a differnet company next gen?

I have been with Nintendo since the N64(My 1st Console) but while the Wii was easily worth the $250 price as well as all of the $ that went into games, controllers, and other things...I can't help but to feel like the Wii didn't last for me. With both the N64 and GC I played them well into the next Gen. I didn't even get a Wii until Summer 2007 and decided to buy another GC in Late 2006 after my older one broke. I have basically, stopped playing Wii games and now play my old GC games on the Wii...and the new Home System Gen hasn't even started yet.

As you can tell by my Sig, I have finally accepted and support the Wii U in hopes that Nintendo will mix the innovation from the Wii & the "Core" of the N64/GC. I haven't counted out Sony's & Microsoft's Systmes though.

Have You been dissapointed this Gen? How likely are you to switch?

By the way, I voted for "It's Possible...maybe"

If there's anything I've learned this gen, it's that you can never predict the next gen.

...With that said, Sony 4 Life.

Definitely not, most of what I play are Nintendo's in-house games. And I don't miss the typical PS360 blockbusters. It's just not my taste.

It depends mostly on Nintendo and to a lesser extent Sony.

Technically, the Wii U is going to be a current generation console, not next gen.

But anyway, at the moment I am not likely to make the switch as soon as another console comes out.

LOL...funny

I'll probably buy them in this order:

WiiU.
X720 (Although, I want this one most)
PS4

At the end of next-gen I'll own them all anyway, just like this gen, and just like last gen.

I will switch once the next gen consoles build up a sizable library of games and I can decide which library looks the most appealing.

Don't really have much brand loyalty. Went from a playstation 1 to a gamecube to a xbox 360 to a playstation 3. I would argue that the 360 is my favorite console from this gen, its certainly the one I root for in this website, but I didn't think twice about selling it last year because I wasn't interested in any of the exclusives for 2011.

We share similar experiences with this gen though. I play on my gamecube far more than on my playstation 3 except for a few days after I get an occasional new game. Infact there was a few months were I owned both the 360 and ps3 and was playing my gamecube more than both those systems combined. Maybe its because I get most of my favorite multiplatform games on the PC nowadays, but in my opinion both the playstation 3 and 360 have terrible exclusive lineups save one or two ips...

I'm excited to jump into next gen but I want more games like infamous, valkyria chronicles, halo, and L4D that despite their graphical shortcomings are just simply fun to play, rather than games that are just about oggling over pixels which I feel is what most recent ps3/360 exclusives seem to focus on these days. Im not saying a good looking game is a bad thing, I just want games to expand or to give me more freedom, or unique gameplay, or something. Nice visuals can compliment innovation, they can't replace it.

Sony has yet to disappoint with their overall games line up ..so without a doubt PS4 is a definite buy
Next xbox too depending on what it offers...but I seriously doubt I will get a wiiu

I almost certainly will, not that I have much of a choice since Sony won't be around next generation.
