oh and this one..my favorite part is at 0:45-1:25 seriously it stills gives me tears for beeing so sad and beautiful at the same time

Bomberman 64 (an often-overlooked game in many regards)

Civilization V

Oh, and though I didn't particularly care for the game, the soundtrack to L.A. Noire was brilliant.

Donkey Kong Country 2 factually has the best soundtrack ever, other than that though:

Icewind Dale has a great soundtrack.

Anyone here who loves the music in Skyrim/Oblivion, check it out. The same guy did it.

5. Revenge of Shinobi (Sega Megadrive/Genesis) the boss musiuc alone is epic, but throw in great music for just about every other stage of the game, and you had a winner.

Honourable mentions..........

Need For Speed: Hot pursuit 2
Super Mario world
Various Sonic games (especially Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic CD & Sonic Adventure 2)

And finally......... a new entry....... i just started playing Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin last week, and WOW, the music is sensational, and low and behold..... MR Streets of Rage Yuzo Koshiro composed 5 tracks for the game (and ironically its one of his tracks that is my fave in the game, "invitation of a crazed moon" superb game, superb music)

Neve rhad dreamcast or xbox1. I would do ANYTHING for Sega to re-release Shenmue on PSN/Live or HD remake...omg
