moneyhatting some devs is quite a different affair than having to build a whole online system from scratch. ANd looking at WiiWare its not like Ninty is really strong in that area anyway, but anything can happen

Nintendo Network it's the new name born in 2011 for the Wi-Fi Connection, it's only a change of name. And an old one.

True, but the fact that a change of name took place implies that lots of changes are going to take place. Changes of which the discussion is supposed to be about.

Ok, but it's already changed, Spotpass/streetpass systems, nintendo postbox, channels with videos, netflix in some regions, the new eshop.

Maybe gonna expand in the WiiU, but it's already started.
