The both of you don't understand why such a tactic failed so miserably for Sega. You can't just arbitrarily launch a console 6 months ahead of time. You'll screw/piss off third parties like Sega did. They were given a target date to have their software ready. They did have their software ready on time, unfortunately Sega launched the console 6 months early.  Another damning thing that ocurred, which had negative effects on the Dreamcast, was that Sega angered retailers as well because they launched far earlier than originally planned they didn't have enough hardware to ship. They choose to only ship to specific retailers initially this caused problems later on when the slighted retailers refused to carry their hardware or Sega had basically bribe/pay them to carry hardware. Some of them never did.

Nintendo has alway been better at business than Sega. That is why I don't think they'd do something so foolish. Even if they did go forward would such a strategy, it would be a logistical nightmare. One that would be heavy risk with the potential for minimal gain. Nintendo has been bending over backwards for third parties since Iwata took over. Any gains they made would be wiped out by a "surprise" launch. That's not taking into consideration the strain it would put on their supply chain. Business partners would need to move up their manufacturing dead lines for an early launch to be accomplished. The cost to manufacture the Wii U itself would likely be hire than planned initially due all of the hoops they'd have to jump through to get he hardware to market. The more I think about it, the less wise the tactic becomes.

Why don't you guys make it into one? It will not be commented on here.

It won't get enough posts, it's way too long. Also by my thread about Pokemon Episodes coming to the 3DS it seems like people only care about the game coming to the 3DS. :/

I don't see why people think the Circle Pad Pro is ugly. It's looks like fine to me.

It looks perfectly fine to me too. It also fixes the issue with peoples hands "cramping" because it is bigger.

I may have to pick one up, I didn't consider that. I never got a Lite and played by DS Phat sparringly because it's not confortable. Same issue with the 3DS.

It doesnt look ugly, it just looks out of place for some reason xD!

Does anyone know if it comes with a game or is it a separate purchase altogether?

I think RE gets bundled with it. You can buy it regularly though.

The 3DS doesn't really cramp up my hands I just noticed other people complaining about that so I said that. Then again... my hands are pretty small.

Oh o.o

Hmmm, I suppose if I buy a 3DS this year, I guess I'll get RE Revelations, another incentive to get it!

I could post several reasons to get one this year. One of them is because I have one and I want to be your friend on it! XD

Trust me, if I had the money, I would buy it right now (with Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land as my first two games) xD!

Those were my first two games! When you buy the 3DS you must buy SM3DL first and then buy MK7. Then we would have bought the same games in the same order! XD

No doubt, of course I would get SM3DL first ;p

It would be nice if I can get it this month, since it will be my 20 year anniversary since I purchased my first Nintendo system and first Mario game: Super Mario World on SNES. (First video game system/game period infact xD).

LOL! That would be cool.
