http://www.apple.com/macbookair/ That must be what you bought, it is a very high quality product and you're putting it to good use. The MacBook Air is also the current skiniest Laptop out there and one of the fastest everyday laptops too! Very good choice!

They are decent but they are not the thinnest or fastest for the size. both of those mantles below to the current breed of ultrabooks. e.g. the zenbook from Asus.
