Which poor soul hasn't watched shinegi no kyugen?

raised hand slowly

I know the show is really good but i just have no burning desire to see it right now. Maybe if im finished with a few games im currently playing and a few of my college assignments so i can fully enjoy watching the show. Plus oddly enough the show stopped at the point where i stopped reading the manga weird.

I read the first ten  volumes of the manga (40+ chapters) which is well ahead of the anime. Liked it a lot. I plan to watch the anime but will give it time so I can forget the details.

So, after episode 4 of Golden Time, I was correct. Show got much better and is probably the best thing I'm watching this season.

I'm still iffy on it.  The lead girl was still a stalker and close to being a lunatic.  I was hoping someone would slap her when she started yelling at that other girl.  That the main character was more sympathetic with a stalker than with his friend was strange and made me think less of him as a person.  I'm also not much on the "poor little rich girl" theme that the Japanese seem to love.  It was her own fault that she was lonely.

She's kind of funny when she's not being creepy, though.  I'm still in "wait and see" mode.

I'm liking Log Horizon a lot more than I ever liked SAO, which I dropped well before the end. Also, the combat in SAO felt really shallow, where all the classes and skills in Log Horizon really appeals to an ex-WOW player like myself.

Yeah! Me too... pretty good... I'm not into MMORPG, never have before and will not probably, butknow some basics about it... and SAO never feel like trapped in a Virtual world... and the other problem is that the goal was set too much fast on the story, the serie felt overall rushed and prety cliché with the animation and climatic scenes.. and another thing in what Log horizon beat SAO is... Akatsuki is CUTE! Deadly Cute! and have better sense of humour the serie...

@Outlawrun: golden Time is Pure Gold.. really on of the surprise for me this season... is just pretty interesting how the characters are evolving... and i'm glad that the first chapter didn't began with the typical "I'm XXX-san and have amnesia and don't remember a thing about my past self..." was a great option that bthey revealed that more on a natural way...

She does get better. (Manga Reading though the anime will catch up to the translated chapters in 1-2 episodes so can't say if she wont' get worse again)

The thing that really grabbed me about Log was the fact that they are really driving the explanation about the mechanics of each class and their accompanying moves. Another is that it didn't turn into a harem fest after the first 2 episodes.

I'll be reading those soon but first I have to finsh my physical Light Novels of Spice & Wolf 1-4.

Watching Shingeki no Kyoujin and having mixed feelings. It is back-breakingly predictable, though very intense with a good portrayal of the horrors of war. Have to watch more to see if they get into some more sophisticated world-building, which is what i feel is lacking at the moment.

Anybody going with "Unbreakable Machine Doll" at the moment? I've seen a synopsis elsewhere and it looks intriguing.

Edit: man, the plot of AoT seems more and more like "Claymore" the longer i watch it. Still a badass show.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
