Great choice. I also added Digimon to the list after you quoted me.

Anyways, yeah start off with Full Metal Alchemist.

After that I would suggest choosing between Trinity Blood & Bleach.

The original is like a spinoff you can say but Brotherhood is more connected to the manga.

Debating which anime I should watch that already ended though.

No, go and watch the original... first, and watch it until chapter 25-28 arround.. and then jump to brotherhood... then after You finish the EPIC BH you can come back to the first serie and enjoy pretty good spin-off...

Or just watch the first and then go for the Brotherhood... is mostly spin-off/fillers But I found it pretty good till the end on the movie...

Yeah, but I think once the long running animes finish up, I think they're going to properly divide anime into seasons.
