I'm wondering if Fate/Zero has the best animation ever seen in "traditional" animated shows? By traditional I mean not CGI. Seriously, it just looks stunning and I really have no idea how they do some of the stuff there

Firstly, animes nowadays are rendered from 3D models anyway. The key is to make them look as "traditional" as possible with copious amounts of cel-shading and such. And it works out, as they mesh with the backgrounds and effects seamlessly.

Secondly, it's ufotable. After watching Fate/Zero try Kara no Kyoukai - these were movies so they got a larger budget "per unit,", so they too look stunning.

Does anyone know who licensed Medaka Box? Crunchy Roll doesn't have it anymore.

Has anyone heard of the Anime movie called "The girl who leapt through time"?

I actually believe there won't be any trouble, just trying to point out the risks of posting such links. (as some of you might know, it is not like I am not supporting doing stuff that is in a very dark-grey zone of my countries law)

Yep, I'll definitely check out Kara no Kyoukai next.

Just watch that Simpsons special called "The Longest Daycare" (it's like 5 minutes)

It shows you how CGI use to be done before the mid-90's and you really can never tell the difference between it and Hand-Drawn Animation.

When you watch it in 2D it looks the same, and when you watch it in 3D, it looks like a three-dimensional cartoon. No flat pieces of card board when viewed in 3D.

Yes. It's one of the most popular anime movies. I enjoyed it, but really hated the main character.
