Forums - Nintendo - IT'S A MIRACLE! 3DS Doesn't Make People Sick Anymore!

i have tried it twice in shops and both times i felt sick.
since i have played on my friends brothers 3DS and i just turn the 3D off, he says that he never really puts the 3D on anyway

I still can't look at it for more than an hour unless I turn the 3d off (I kind of don't like to sit still O_o). But unless I really love the game (mario 3d land, Starfox), I don't play for more than an hour at a time.

The battery still sucks. But, so does vita's and PSP's battery life. still annoying, and still valid complaints, however. To continually bring up these complaints is called being obsessively bitchy. It is what it is.

And some of the people that complained might have had no intention on buying a 3DS anyways, that's how the internet works.

Since Starfox 64 they chilled the 3D effect out heaps. Starfox 64 on full 3D is about the same as Pilotwings on half.
On earlier games like Pilotwings/MonkeyBall the 3D was way too intense. Even Ocarina of Time was a little bit harsh on full 3D setting.

Also I read that they used a different 3D technique on Super Mario 3D Land. That's why there are 2 different 3D effects you can use. The default setting is the new method where Mario is the centre point and the 3D effect is all around him. The second setting Mario is part of the 3D like in Ocarina of Time.

They are just perfecting the 3D effect. It's very hard to feel sick playing Mario Kart/Mario Land on full 3D. But try playing PilotWings on full 3D for a few minutes and you'll feel like shit.

I must admit that after using one for the first time yesterday I was amazed when I didn't wake up to find my eyeballs bleeding.

You're just blinded by fanboyism that you cannot see your balls bleeding.

Solution to the 3D motion sickness which does affect people: Turn off 3D

Simple as that.

But if you do that, then the 3DS is just two DS's duct taped together. Why would you want one of those?

Getting the Vita day one! So excited!!! There is innovation!!!

No, the sickness hasn't stopped. It's just that some people get sick playing games in 3D and others don't. I, for example, tried outa 3ds in March, was hugely impressed but had severe eye strains and decided not to buy one. Why would I discuss about a product that I do not use?

It's similar with FPS. Some people feel sick playing them and others don't. Sure, based on sales one would say that it's not really an isssue, bu it is to some people.

I buyed 3DS the day-one. Now I'm blind, but happy because the games finally are very hard to play and I'm really satisfied when I finish 'em.

Yeah! 3DS without 3D what sense make? If You turn it off in some menus is OK, but in the games?

But Like the first entry said, hatters gonna hate... that what happened with the 3DS, the compleins about features and errors about the console, abot the price, etc, Is Happening with the PSVita... and happened with PS3, 360, Wii, etc...

i'm gonna get Vita, not day one beacause need to save some more money (Just too much good games at launch), but not because the innovative of the console (at most the Rear touch panel) but for GAMEs... I like more the PSVita launch games than the actual 3DS line up... Sorry but i'm not fan of Nintendo's key franchise except Zelda and Metroid...
