My friend is coding for PS4 and has confirmed that the hardware is being worked on.
I have no reason to lie about something so well assumed.
So its not Sony, but as already discussed- they may wait a while to introduce the PS4.

It's Nintendo. They won't release a console this next generation, because Nintendo will officially call it a toy. Soon afterward they will admit that they are not in the same market as Sony and Microsoft after all.

If one were to blow out it would certainly be the Playstation. I think a PS4 could easily pull a Dreamcast.
This again? Why are some people so eager to see one of the big three go? This is most likely proper bullshit anyway, neither of them has any reason to fall back, if anything they'll go at it even harder than before since they're so close this gen and Nintendo probably won't be anywhere near as dominant.
Then why have both game division been buying or creating new game studios?
I don't really want anyone to stop making consoles, hope it's false, probably is
Ever thought of having a joint console?
Equal the end to console wars.
Yay!!!
This is BS. All three will have new consoles with optical drives. Internet conections around the world (bar maybe Japan and a couple more countries) aren't good enough to allow OnLive/Gaikai to replace traditional consoles.
And lol at Mike Vorhaus that thinks Nitendo will be the one to get out. Has he heard about that little thing called WiiU?

The losses you're talking about are nothing compared to what they have lost with their TV and Mobile Phone divisions. If they were to drop a division they should drop those (without them they'd be billions in the black). Anyway, I call BS on this Gaikai's prophecy of course. |
Sony won't drop the mobile market now that they have bought Ericsson.
