One thing I didn't realise is that the same NPC has up to 3 different dialogues they say if you speak to them each time. I find this annoying, I want any information an NPC can give in one go instead of having to press X to talk to them 3 times to get all the dialogue.

How is the demo though. Is it worth downloading?

It's a very good demo but if your definetely planning on getting the game and have some internet bandwidth limit then don't get it. Really only get it if your on the fence with the game, it might tip you over to buy it or not if you dislike some things.

By any chance there is no possible way to save within the demo right?

I could find now way.

The demo took me around 2.5 hours to complete. I found every hidden treasure (when the moogle goes to something press L1 to get hidden treasures), did every side quest that I could find. I did spend a lot of time talking to NPc's in the town so my time might be slightly inflated.

Wow the npcs have voice acting all the time thats very cool.

I like how when you talk to Chocolina on the stairs the NPC's deicide to jump up the blocked railings to get past you. Also when you press L1 to make the moogle find treasure people come round to see what it's doing. Very nice touch.

Oh ok i just completed the demo now i  didnt do any of the sidequests just went straight through to the finish since i was in sort of a rush i kinda did mess around though for like 20-30 min. which is why i was wondering if there was a save point (save progress for demo and just continue playing it later).

Is anyone planning to get the Collectors edition?

I was, but I probably wont i preordered the regular version on amazon and i don't really wanna change it lol.

Dude That demo was AMAZING especially if you took your time and got all the Monster allies, leveled them up and whatnot...Also

Chocobo Breeding + Racing is back! YAYAYAYA :D:D:D::D:D:D::D:D:D:D::D:D:D:D:

...uhh...ill just put my favorite quote of all time here.

"Welcome to Pain, the second of three...You have dealt the first...now deal with me!!"

So far, this is the same thing I played at E3 -Atlas' arm fight. But the music is a lot crappier than I remember. Maybe because it was so loud there I didn't realize how terrible the soundtrack was.

I changed the Pedgrem ... whatever it's called to attack/magic, and spammed x until the in-game button sequence popped-up. Nothing new so far. I've played this demo 7 months ago.

The Demo goes FAR beyond the atlas arm fight...It actually has 5 hours of gameplay if you want to capture/level all monsters to max + complete every side mission

Demo was awesome; it was way better than anything Tri-Ace, Atlus and NIS dished out in the past two years (it's not like they made anything good in that time-frame imo).

The monster system was a sweet and somewhat addicting feature; I have a feeling I'm going to spend a lot of time leveling those monsters (just like I do in SMT). I normally hate random encounters, but I loved XIII-2's version; you can easily avoid being sunk into a battle.

The only things I didn't like were the QTEs (felt worthless and out of place) and Mog talking.
