Congrats Xbox!

Up to this day, I still wondered how Xbox flourished under the dominating, omnipotent, top-dog PS brand.

What's interesting is the dramatic increase in userbase that 360 has on it's predecessor, despite the RROD mess up, it's still at like 3x the original Xbox. Which is a great improvement.

i laugh everything i see people whining about the rrod.  the old "how many of those are replacements for the rrod" yada still come up.  to survive that says more about xbox resilience than anything else

All 3 Playstation Home Consoles: 315M. That's a nice milestone too. =P

In all seriousness though, congrats to the XBox brand for getting to where it is now.  During the last console gens that Sega took part in, they couldn't achieve the kind of market split the way Microsoft has managed to this gen. All 3 are almost tied in sales currently (not in total sales, mind you), which is really surprising and showing that there IS indeed a place for 3 consoles.  Microsoft managed to impose itself like few would have guessed possible 5-6 years ago.

Quite a step up from what I believed possible back in 07.
