So can we then say that all the PSVita's that sell will simple because of advertising and that the people really didnt want need them?

No, that would be Apple sales.

Advertising the system itself wont sell the system, how about announcing games for it.

If a person hasnt heard of the Vita and their a "Gamer", than you know there's something wrong with that person. Especially since how far and wide the Internet is lawl..

I believe Sony would have been better success if they released a $150 "casual friendly" PSV (WiFi only) (I hate using these stupid "industry" terms...) and a $200 "hardcore system" for the serious gamers.  I think coming out with a 200 and 250 price tag (which that 250 is pretty much dropped) wasn't a good move.  However, they didn't know Nintendo would drop the price so damn quickly on the 3DS so they were aiming around a 200/250 price tag for awhile.  A 150 and 200 system would have been way better is all I am saying for consumer friendly prices.

I mean a system as strong as the ps360. In such a small device.

Its easy to slash the price but its hard to make vita worth that much.

Yay!!!

The fact that SONY is making games like Uncharted for VITA shows that they have learned nothing from PSP in regards to handheld market.

Add to fact Uncharted barely appeals to that PS3 fanbase... what are they thinking.

They should have never went for the all mighty power in the first place then if it was compromising a consumer friendly price.  The most powerful system has never won any gaming generation (hand held and home console, yes I consider the Neo Geo apart of the 16 bit gen).  The problem with Sony is that they are too cocky.  They are like Tim Allen on Tool Time lately... More Power More Power.  Their hardcore fan base in pursuit of the holy grail of graphics has caused the collapse and failure of their brand.  If anyone is to blame for the downfall of Sony is it their fanbase which lead Sony to being so damn cocky.  They won the PS1 and PS2 generations not with the most powerful machine.  Graphics aren't everything and sales always prove it.

Youre absolutely right, shame on sony for providing gamers with a variety of software that will cater to a larger audience by hopefully bringing in gamers who wouldnt necessarily consider themselves portable gamers.  Its as if every game they are developing are along the lines of uncharted vita, when this is really one of a handful of games that are going to provide a console like experience, while there are several titles that will be offering more bite-sized gaming that portable gamers are used to.  Not every ps vita owner is purchasing the system for UGA, and why does everyone believe that there are portable gaming standards?  In order to capture a larger portion of the market, it is necessary to provide experiences that cant be found anywhere else, especially when nintendo pretty much owns dedicated portable gaming when it comes to competent, ableit safe software offerings.  The only way Sony can hope to gain a proper foothold in the handheld market is to differentiate itself with its software, otherwise they're dead in the water.

Your typing, not thinking: Games like Uncharted have no business on handheld unless they redesigned to fit handheld styled gaming. look at Games like Dissdia, God of War, 3rd Birthday, Crisis Core, MGS, the 1st thing out of everybody mouth is they should have been put on console because those are console styled game. As great as those are on PSP.. ppl would rather play them on a console. Handheld gaming is not about cinematic story driven shit.. its about turning the game on and off when choose, short bust gameplay... there are different stands about game design on consoles vs handhelds and you think there isnt.. then I have nothing to say to you because this discussion will have to Xxtend waay pass where it started but I cant .. preparing for work.
