just saw a few minutes of a republican debate... apparently believing that religious organizations should respect the rights of minorities and not discriminate against them is in fact "secular bigotry".
the view was vocally supported by at least two of the candidates and it seemed to garner rather loud applause from the audience. there was a fair amount of talk of war against christians by seculars in the short part that i watched, and it reminded me of a lot of the rhetoric by muslim extremists against the west and christians.
i found it disturbing. i think trying to incite a religious war should be a criminal offense.
anyone have thoughts on this?
