It might not have been because of the price cut, actually it did help, but the games that came out not too long ago really helped the sales too! Overall, this system's sales are just beastly. :D

Not the fastest to 5m, but I think it may have been fastest to 10 by a very small margin. Could be wrong though.

I just got quoted and saw this on my way back into the thread.

The Wii, which held the "Fastest to 15m title" before 3DS... Also started at $250. It only took 2 more Months to hit 15 Million, without a pricecut and with massive shortages.
