Being English, I've always been fascinated by the popularity of this drink by those in Scotland - it's the only country in the world where Coca Cola isn't the best-selling soft drink! Naturally I had to find out what all the fuss was about, and this morning I went out and bought a bottle of the stuff.

Its bright orange colour definitely makes it stand out! At first I couldn't decide whether I liked the taste or not - it tastes like nothing I've drank before - but after some contemplation, I think that it's something that I may well drink more often. Nice work Scotland!

I used to drink Irn Bru when I was a kid/early teen (15-20 yrs ago...so old, sob..)but my preference was always Tizer. Not sure what's in it now but back then it probably contained something cancer inducing. Good times

I'm Scottish - so yes I've tasted it. Haven't had any for a while now but as a kid it was definitely the one drink you drank above all others, including Coke.
