Considering the first was crap, i do not care.

Yeah I read the game will be bigger and thx to the WiiWare size issue it will not be available on Wii... Maybe WiiU will get it.

I wouln't worry, I see a retail release for next gen consoles.

Sonic 4 Episode 1 would have sold a lot better if all of the episodes were in one game.

Why not just wait for the compilation when they finished all the episodes?

WiiU is guaranteed since Sonic usually sells the best on Nintendo-consoles

I highly doubt this has to do with Sega giving up on the Wii, after all, the Wii got that Mario & Sonic game. Generations wasn't released on the Wii because the Wii doesn't have HD, and didn't have anything to do with phasing the Wii out. Like others said this must be a size issue, not to mention the game may come to the 3DS/Wii U, and like Galaki said, there will be an inevitable compilation coming. 

There is a rumored "Sonic Dimensions" game for the Wii U. 

How do you explain no Sonic CD??? No excuse for that one, I think there is even an iOS version.

ANd FYi the WiiWare version of Episode 1 actually did the worst of the consoles. Just something to think about.

ronster who cares about sonic cd , hell sonic can burn in hell , its been a dead game ever since sega left the console industry any way ,
also wii got colors last year this is porbably why it didnt get generations,  

not the graphics plus gen is on 3ds so if graphics had any thing to do with it it wouldnt be on 3ds, 

and if sega gave up on wii wii wouldnt have mario and sonic 2012, just came out ,,  in fact wiis got 3 exclusive sonic titles plus 2 multiplat --sonic black knight sonic secret rings sonic colors - the two multiplat = sonic 4 ep 1  and sonic unleashed   

so if you ask me wii has more new sonic games then  the competitors  

competitors have 1 less sonic game -ports are not counted  and since sonic cd is on gc - you can play that on  the wii already  , ,   

no big loss
