Using a wired connection on my 360, I've had nothing but problems since the update.

• several times, I try to view my Achievements and they simply are not there.  None of them.  Somtimes, only a few of them.
• I get forced off of Xbox Live all of the time.  I check my connection and it says everything is okay.  I still can't log ing.
• Earlier today, I got kicked off of Xbox Live.  I tried to log in.  It tried to make me re-create my Avatar, mid game.  I turned the console off.
• Gears of War 3 matchmaking is taking forever.
• The last few games I downloaded (Street Fighter 3, Bejeweled Blitz Live, and some other I can't remember) were already demos on my console.  When I tried to unlock them, I had to re-download the entire game.  If I didn't, it kept calling them "demos"--even when I was logged in as myself and online.
• I have two 360's and I go between them with flash drives.  The first day, I couldn't log into my second 360 as me.  The problem eventually fixed itself.  More recently (Monday, I think), my kid couldn't log into the living room 360 even though we put in the proper password--and before, we NEVER needed to type in a (Windows ID/Password).  We had to go to the other 360 and change the password for the second 360 to let her log in.
• I have to poop.

I just tried to play SF3 online and the game logged me off and I can't seem to log back in.  I'm a patient person but enough is enough!  None of these problems were there before the update.

Anybody else having these problems?  What the fuck?  I've been a Gold Member for over four years.  Never seen XBL so unstable.

Try to connect to PSN and see if you have problems there too.

I was on the PSN a few hours ago playing Dead Space 2 (Don't know why it's not in my sig).  Had no problems.  My kid watches Netflix on the PS3 every day.  Again, no problems.  And I had people over for Christmas.  They played Call of Duty Black Ops, NBA 2K12, DCU Online, and Madden without a problem.

Anyway, I gotta get ready for work.  Would have been nice to get a few rounds of Street Fighter in.  Had it for a few days but never played it.

You haven't had problems like surfing the internet on your computer right? Or internet related activity on your computer.

Because sometimes that kinda thing is a symptom of a router, or modem going bad... maybe that's obvious, but that's just an idea.

--Still here.  Loved Hunted The Demon's Forge.  I think I gave it a rating if you want to check my collection.  Had a lot of fun with it.  For me, it was an 8/10 game but for anybody else, I'd probably say 6/10.

Wow it sucks that you are having so many problems with XBL. I haven't had any of the above problems nor do I know anyone else that has encountered them.

Try the following things and see if anything works.

1. First off clear the cache on your 360 to see if that could be the problem (I doubt it is but you never know) then if that doesn't work try to sync it to your router wirelessly (if your 360 is able) or try out a different ethernet cable.

2. Try to plug the 360 that is having problems straight into the modem and see if you are having problems because the update could have caused a DNS problem or something like that with your router. If it works fine whilst plugged into the modem then the router is your problem.

3. Try resetting your router first by doing a soft reset (unplugging the power from it) and if that doesn't work you may have to call up your ISP provider and get them to help you out to fix the problem

4. If none of the above work call Microsoft and see if they can help you.


I hope you can get your 360 working good with XBL again.

Do you have any error codes.. Im in the beta preview so ive had the update for many weeks now... Ive experienced error codes and they ussually sort themselves out..

Microsoft has acknowledged the problem though... means that your not the only person whos experiencing this. I feel bad for you bro.

I don't have any problems... But try xbox support? They're very helpfull people and have always solved my problem so I think they know what you need to do :)
