They should be out by then anyway. It's a completely new architecture so I'm going to go with get a 7870.... that's my plan anyway.

Its a popular graphics mod which extends and adds a lot of post processing effects, it runs poorly without the 4GB patch though. Textures aren't greatly improved though, we have to wait for the Skyrim HD mod for that but that won't be ready for months yet with the amount of work it takes.

I'd sold my GTX260 two weeks ago and i'm waiting to buy a new GPU on janaury, now that the 7000 series has been confirmed I can wait some days till janaury 9th, but no more than that, has been confirmed tha mid-range series for that day? Not even Amazon have them listed!

What do you mean by your last sentence?
And I thought you used to say it was the other way, that once u had experienced good 3D you couldnt go back to 2D gaming,

Tastes change i guess. last thing i want to do now is play a game in 3d. Just the idea of putting those glasses on annoys me...lol
