I still can't get over the fact that Alan Wake got degraded to a Xbox Live Arcade title. It upsets me so much. I don't understand Microsoft's strategy at all. Instead of investing in the franchise and lifting it to the next level like Sony did with Uncharted they have doomed Alan Wake to obscurity.

How can we Xbox fans ever get respect if our few exclusives are treated like this?

Also I didn't like this mode. It doesn't fit Alan Wake. No tension and atmosphere, just shooting waves of enemies like a true Arcade title for 10 bucks.

The first Alan Wake game was like this? I've never played that game, and for some reason I always thought it was a pure horror game like Silent Hill.
Now seeing this sequel I have my doubts about the game...seems kind of tun tough

Degrading? releasing it over XBLA is a great way to introduce people to the franchise, plus Remedy will get more sales instead of being pirated over 1 million times.

I don't understand? Just because it's an XBLA game doesn't make it any less of a game. This way it's much cheaper and will definitely profit from it more than before because they don't have to worry about pirating and used copies.  Obviously this game is smaller in scale than the original and this is just a spinoff. Remedy already anounced they are working on Alan Wake 2, so don't fret.

BTW this new mode looks awesome. Can't wait to play it!
