It seems the "doomed" vibe is shifting from Nintendo back to Sony again. Have to update "The Cycle of Doom"...

Rol predicted it awhile back after I said Nintendo is about to shut up the doom crowd.  He then predicted it would shift to Sony.  Pretty safe prediction but I didn't really see anyone else stating this until now.

Holy crap!

Now that you mention it, I wonder if the doom-o-meter has ever pointed MS

Zune

Oh the 'infamous' zune. Then it were right, it was indeed doomed.

First three quarters of 2008 when the PS3 finally began to pick up steam, Wii was at its most dizzy height, but Microsoft seemed to be flagging for the first time (before their big price drop in, i want to say, August of that year)

Then again in 2009 after the big PS3 price-drop up until the launch of Kinect in 2010, when the 360 had a weak holiday lineup and the PS3 closed much of the gap

Granted, this is talking more about when the 360 has been "doomed" and only in this generation.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Indeed it was...however its interesting to note that the design ideas of Windows 8, Windows phone 7 and new xbox dashboard all trace back to Zune software and mp3 players.

Vita will do pretty well. What is really interesting is how it will fare in Europe and North America.

I want dual analog, online anywhere, games and apps, could care less of graphic and motion.

Are you that ignorant? There's much more to the Vita than amazing graphics.
