Best news this week. Next gen HD consoles need to come in 2013 to be powerful enough and meet the hardware demands of game engine developers such as Crytec and Epic.

Well that is what I was thinking at first, but then Max Payne 3 got stuck there, and it is clear that this has the full backing of R*, and while that makes the most logical place to put the game as May 2013, I can't even consider the possibility that I will have to wait that long

Oh yeah I forgot about Max Payne in there. That would be unfortunate if it forces GTA back a bit. I could live with GTA being Fall 2012.

i'l be honest, i also like the old look of the 360s because its usable i can put stuff under and on top of it.

I'm sure they've done enough market research to assure that they have come up with a new name that will make the feeble minded happy. Rest assured, MS will continue to tell you what to think in your little, tidy, white, smiley world.

Hopefully they'll loosen the reigns on Rare a bit. And don't forget Conker.

C's research focus was hardware design, already replaced years ago by a nice guy. While W's team focuses its research in Xbox LIVE Programming(yup, She's Major Nelson's boss).

i just the launch is as good as 360 ( other then the RROD issues of course) 360 had a pretty good line up of games early on, especially compared to the ps3.
