I’m impressed that you’ve been able to hold yourself until now!

You will love it as I know your more open minded about these things ;)

When will you be done so you can play it?

I'm sure I will love it though, everyone here seems to like it and I trust you guys!

I'll finish my last final Jan 7th = in about a month, but I'm not worried about that right now, I've got a graduation project and the second to last phase/part is due tomorrow XP

I could envision Skyward Sword's scheme, except with plus, minus, one and two used for your helper and such (or just plain ol' pause), with the d-pad changed to camera, and with all the extra stuff plunked on the U-pad: item select and bringing the damn mini-map back (the only feature that i really dislike about Skyward Sword)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Great news!

It's comforting to know that Aonuma knows what he wants to do with the series.

Please excuse my bad English.

Well, we all should take into account that the series was in a sales decline after Ocarina´s. Majora sold poorly, and Wind Waker even worst. Twilight Princess became the 2nd best selling Zelda ever, and SS is selling better than TP (in the US). So, sales-wise, this is a good decision.

pwin´ every other villain since 1994

Motion plus isn't the standard controller for the WIIU. People would have to buy a controller to play Zelda and they already found out with skyward sword that it doesn't bode well for sales. All the new things they added with motion plus could easily be duplicated with a second analog stick similar to how okami worked on ps2. Basically everything zelda did could have been done on a standard controller fairly well with a second analog stick. If anything they could easily input multiple control schemes to cover all their bases like with Brawl or Mario kart but I doubt Nintendo would do that.

Are you guys happy about this? I still haven't played skyward sword because I have no money for a wii, makes me sooooooooooo sad....

From what I've played in Skyward Sword, the experience getting into the gameplay was a breath of fresh air compared to the other zelda series but it still consisted the core basics which made the zelda series so great.

The only complaint I had was all the recalibrating from time to time.

I'm sure it can't be too bad though, but it isn't strenuous to keep swinging the wii mote is it?

Yay.
Non-motion controls would be a substantial step backwards for the franchise now.
