Yeah, I heard some good things about Singularity. I got buried with the all the great games that came out in 2010 but I'd definitely give it a look if it's at a good price.

On topic: I'm also a fan of the Chemical Thrower from Bioshock, even though it really made the game way too easy near the end (particularly with Big Daddy fights).

These are my two favorite weapons in video games.

The Halo 3 Battle Rifle and the Halo 3 Sniper Rifle.

The Portal Gun or anything from Ratchet and Clank, actually I have a favorite:



Step 1. Spot a group of enemies
Step 2. Shoot buzz blades like a madman (it helps if you jump around while doing this)
Step 3. Everyone is dead!

All the Magnum style weapons in the Resident Evil games, they used to obliterate heads and take down bosses with minimal effort.

The M40A3 in Call of Duty 4, whenever I used that weapon I became one with it, it had such a great feel.

The SAA in Metal Gear Solid 3, being able to spin a gun on your finger, then bounce a bullet round a corner was pretty epic.

The Fat Man in Fallout 3, or even better, the Fat Man that shoots multiple nukes. This weapon was ridiculous, you had the ability to launch nukes at people and reduce them to cinders, it's insanity.

I'm more a fan of real guns than fantasy/fictional guns

My favs are:

1. The classic AK-47 for obvious reasons. Probably the most recognizable gun in human history, and has probably caused the most death in the history of the world (been used in so many wars/conflicts its ridiculous)

2. The Mauser K98 from WWII games. Just has a cool name "Kar 98" plus I love bolt actions. One of the best guns of WWII.

3. The Thompson "Tommy Gun". Its packs a massive punch with its .45 caliber rounds, espeically with the drum mag on it. Great gun in WWII as well as for gangsters in the 20's and 30's.

4. Benelli M1014 from Call of Duty 4. Such a beauty shotgun in real life. I can't afford it but I want to get the Benelli SuperNova Tactical

5. Chinese Assault Rifle from Fallout 3 - awesome gun, probably my favourite to use in the game. 

Yeah Auger was a beast, I forgot about that beauty. 

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, one of my favourite fictional guns is the Hailstorm from Resistance. Bullets riccochet off of all surfaces until they find their way into some Chimera scum! Plus the secondary function of firing the entire clip into a room and it acting as a turret is pretty fucking sweet! Only bad thing was it was so damn hard to find ammo for it. 

Looks kinda stupid too now that I see it again, but who cares its so awesome.

The Resistance series had some awesome weapons. You really saw a lot of Insomniac's creativity (particularly with Ratchet & Clank) come out in the Resistance games.

That being said, my favorite gun in the Uncharted series has to be the Dragon Sniper:

Might not look too impressive there, but it's a beast of a weapon.

I forgot to mention Ebony and Ivory, Dante's default guns. Infite ammo kicks ass!
