by the way, i looked at the discussion at Gaf out of curiosity (DAMN they have a good looking official thread.. i feel so stupid >.<) , and someone mentioned how shitty the ending was. (without giving details - lucky me.)

it took me some seconds, but then i realized that FFXIII-2 has multiple endings.. and i had to laugh.

i played through X-2 5 times, with the last  playthrough beeing a 100% one.   ... i *cough*.. liked.. *cough*... X-2.

@gaf acc: i dont even have one, and i dont intend to make one. not because i am biased, i dont care for the fight between VGC and Gaf, but a.) i dont want to be active in too many Forums, and b.) making VGC a forbidden term just sounds stupid to me. (but most of the Users seem to be quite well informed, which is why i like to visit their forum sometimes.)

Wow, I can only imagine what FFXIII would have turned out like had SE focused on the non-linearity and side quests. I mean, I really loved XIII but it was really flawed... the sequel seems to be much better

i also thought that FFXIII was flawed and far to linear, but on the other hand, no FF since part 7 was really that open. (only thing that made it look like it is was world Maps. of course, XII is an exception, but its the only one.) the real flaw was that (imo!) revisiting old places was impossible (okay, beeing able to didnt make sense if the story is taken into account, but still, stupid decision), and there was close to nothing to do other than playing the Main Story, and doing those tedious Hunting Missions. I still dont know why i did all of them... i think i was a trophy whore back then, good thing for me that this phase is over.

So FF13-2 sells just over 500,000 first week. OK numbers but a a third of what FF13 sold which was 1.5 million.
i'm suprised that this has happened in japan because that is its homeland and they usually really sell massive there.

But nevermind i think it will have good legs. and i cant wait, ive watched some playthroughs early in the game of the Jap version and im really liking what im seeing. I cant understand Japanese so i havnt ruined anything for myself, Infact ive just hyped myself up even more :)

My sales prediction is looking even more accurate.

Thanks for giving your early impressions, It was a good read and it seems like square enix have truly listened to the critics of the last, which will make some people happy. I cant wait, im really liking what you wrote and what ive seen in playthroughs.
