On the other hand, those are worldwide numbers, and this was an SCEA marketing guy talking about it.  If it was SCEE it might be more likely to be worldwide since they made the game, but I'd say there is a good chance these are American numbers.

You're assuming many things here.

First those are US numbers you have there. Perhaps he's talking about WW.

Second he may be talking about shipped numbers.

And third, 4 days actually.

I do think its undertracked. PS3 sold 370k on blackfriday week in America. I would assume around 300k of those came from blackfriday itself considering xbox and wii blackfriday/week ratios. LittlebigPlanet 2 only sold 170k on blackfriday week. Its hard to believe less then 50% of the blackfriday console sales were the holiday bundle that included littlebigplanet 2

2. That's not shipped neither sold... that's just new users in LittleBigPlanet 2.
