Random thought popped into my head today. I couldn't remember the last time I saw someone stick up their middle finger. I did it in the mirror and it just looked and felt so weird.

So do you or people around you still use it to tell someone "fuck you"?

Yeah its not as popular anymore...


The F-word is still well used but more sexually now.

I gave my manager the finger on a whim when I was 20, got fired, got hired somewhere else two weeks later and met the girl who's now my fiancée.

A middle finger totally changed my life and for that it'll always be relevant to me. True story.

I haven't really seen people use it in public. In fact I don't recall ever seeing anyone use it. I guess I live in a good town :D

Yeah less common then it used to be I think, but it's still in use.

I bite my thumb at people instead.

My middle finger is too busy poking at my smartphone to be used elsewhere.
